I asked the manager if i can leave my backpack cuz i have a meeting and i am dressed formally and i have my Laptop and it was raining, and she didnt accept, even I tole Her Please its very important, she didnt care SHAME. Its not a luggage, and there was plentttty of space where she can just help me but she didnt want.and she kept saying: u can go and put it in this hotel they have luggage services, this is not a service !! This is a must by all Hotels. Terrible experience

I've stayed at a few Travelodges and this one has to be one of the nicest. The building is modern, the rooms seem to have been recently refurbished and the whole building is spotlessly clean. The reception staff, without exception, were all welcoming and helpful and Ismail topped up my room when I asked as I'd forgotten to put the notice out. As a lone female traveller I felt safe that the main doors are key-entry only between 10pm and 6am and the staff assured me they are there 24 hours and gave me their number to call if I had any problems. The town centre appears to be thriving (not an empty shop in sight!) and one is spoiled for choice for restaurants, there's also a Co-op and a Tesco just a few steps away and a Costa downstairs. The biggest bonus though has to be its proximity to the train station with trains into both Waterloo and Victoria. My room was on the front of the building so I wasn't bothered at all by train noise but, honestly, even if I were, it's a small price to pay for such a prime location.
